Meet the Band
Carrie
Vocals
Carrie has always loved singing and has performed with a wide variety of ensembles from an early age. As an undergrad at Indiana University she performed with several orchestral and chamber ensembles as well as the band Y.O.U, but most enjoyed the time she spent singing Gospel music with the IU Chorale Ensemble. In the past she has performed and recorded with Ann Arbor's J-Cats, Ypsi's Planet D, and has made guest appearances with Laith Al Saadi.

Sean
Guitar and Vocals
My mother had it all worked out: her firstborn would play the piano. A plastic Roy Rogers guitar and the just-released Meet The Beatles (remember them?) changed all that. I have been playing with bands on and off since the early 70s, and I still can't get enough of it. Especially with the likes of this bunch. Pinch me. I must be dreaming!
WILL
Bass and Vocals
"The Sweet Potato" -- The bassist is often tha backbone of a band, n he is no exception. Wizzle manages ta hold everyth'n togetha wit his unusually dexterous style of Perpetratin' bass, while simultaneously sing'n back'n vocals an hittin that booty. In his past musical lives, Wizzle has played tha electric bass in several groups steppin' up wit The Dopes n tha legendary Aluminum Canfreaks.

Mark
Keys and Vocals
Mark played his first professional jazz gigs as a teenager and joined his first swing band in 1989. He has worked extensively with Diana Leigh's Crazy Rhythm, for two years with alto player John Slate of the Ray Charles band, and briefly with Stacey Kent. He also held a part-time position as musician/beach-bum on the Caribbean island of Aruba for four years in the nineties. In 2004 he joined Ann Arbor's J-Cats.
John
Drums and Yelling
Picture me at age 10, banging away on my Ludwig Vistalites, trying to transform myself into John Bonham. I was taught how to swing to big band, but I was equally influenced by straight ahead rock-n-roll, prog, and fusion jazz. In my 20's I drummed with Frank Allison and the Odd Sox, where we drew enthusiastic crowds and created a beautiful community of music lovers, dancers and genuinely happy people. 5 albums...5 years...countless hours in the van. A habitual concert-goer, I think there's nothing quite so magical as live music. My motto is to serve the song, bring the energy, and keep the train on the tracks.
Let's Rock!
